What has been described as a tragic accident in Alberton, Ekurhuleni has left one man dead while the other two sustained injuries. Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said these three employees were trying to fix the tanker when the tragedy took place.
“The three men were welding a tanker trailer at a factory when it explode. When the paramedics arrive, they tried to resuscitate the deceased but it was too late. The third man sustained minor injuries and was treated on the scene”, said Herbst.
Herbst added that the third man refused to be taken to the hospital while the critically injured one was transported by an ambulance to the hospital for further treatment
