Yvonne Chaka Chaka daughter’s store looted

Legendary singer Yvonne Chaka Chaka came back from Namibia on Sunday to find her daughter’s store in Maboneng ransacked. This comes in the midst of the recent violent attacks that have engulfed Johannesburg.

It is reported that Fortunate along with her employees heard the commotion inside the store but couldn’t stop the looters. The looters made off with everything in the boutique leaving only the mannequins on the floor.

The distraught songstress vented her frustration on twitter after taking a few snapshots of the damaged property. ‘Came back from Namibia [and] this is what I found. My daughter’s shop broken into and looted. I am shattered. Lawlessness’, she tweeted.

The Johannesburg CBD has been patrolled by police officers on a daily basis since the attacks took a nasty turn the previous week.
