Ex-Sundowns star Teko Modise lands new deal with Hollywoodbets

The former Bafana Bafana captain and South African soccer legend, Teko Modise is bubbling with excitement after partnering with Hollywoodbets as their newest ambassador. Modise has now joined other South African soccer giants Jerry Sikhosana and Brian Baloyi as a Hollywoodbets Brand Ambassador, with the agreement confirmed on Wednesday, 23 November.

The community-focused betting operator, Hollywoodbets and soccer icon share a common goal of elevating the game and taking it to new heights. With over 20 years in the South African and international football scene, Modise was considered one of the country’s greatest players.

Modise incredible ability to direct and control the ball on the field earned him the General moniker. He is currently a commentator on SuperSport and founder of the Prestigious Group sports talent management agency and he works with some of the country’s top sporting stars. He said that he is grateful for this new partnership.

“I am very excited about this partnership because I share the same passion for giving back to the community, as Hollywoodbets does,” he said.

Modise added that he is a trendsetter and social media maverick, who shares the same vision of the future as the Purple Brand. “Managing talent has always been something that has interested me as seeing sportsmen and sportswomen going to greater heights gives me the greatest joy,” he said.

According to Modise, the country has so much talent and he intends to bring it to the world. “I would also like to introduce the Hollywoodbets brand to my audience in meaningful ways,” he said.

Charles Zama, the Hollywoodbets business development manager said that they are delighted to welcome Modise on the Purple family. “We are excited to work with Teko on unearthing the next generation of South Africa’s stars. He shares a common passion for soccer and developing the community, which will help us bring Mzansi closer to the game that they love,” he said.
