Afro-pop star Amanda Black released her second album Power and elaborated on her being inspired by her experience in the music industry over the past three years. The album was released online recently and twitter responded with excitement and enthusiasm for the sophomore album.
According to the Amazulu hit maker the music industry is not designed for artists, she believes the industry is an exploitative system, therefore, artists should feel the need to fight in order to survive in the industry.
Amanda Black said with the latest album she wanted to move forward from the negatives that occurred in the music industry. Due to the struggles she faced she ended up being depressed and scared to face the world, but with Power she is celebrating herself and taking her power back as an artist.
