A 34-year-old Cacious Malatji was inspired by clothing brand such as drip and Bathu to start his own brand which aims to bring people together. Born and raised in Moime village outside Lenyenye in the Limpopo province, Malatjistarted his clothing brand in the local township of Meadowlands in Soweto.
Since its inception in 2019 Malatji’s brand has been making waves in the clothing industry since its inception. The brand speaks to a niche in the fashion industry with its own voice and creativity by bringing people together. In an exclusive interview Malatji told Gauteng News that the distinct Kasie style is what makes the brand to unite individuals.
“Late 2018 when I organize this brand, I was aiming to see people together having fun and enjoying. Bloma Nathi massage makes it more unique because it includes everyone one that is interested to chill and enjoy with people. I want 2 see my brands on shelves in stores all over Mzanzi,” said Malatji.
The brand comes in variety of styles and colors which include T-Shirts, Golf Shirts, Bucket hats, Caps, Beanies, Sweaters and hoodies. It has also released the latest warm hoodies and jerseys for winter collection. Malatji wants to see his label sold in all major stores in South Africa and opening his own stores in future.
