The Johannesburg Water issued a statement to alert residents that their reservoirs were stable.
The reservoirs are supplied by the Rand Water at Eikenhof pump system.
This comes after they issued a statement last week to alert residents about the water outage, that will occur due to the raw pipe that supplies their Vereeniging water purification plant this process would last for 54 hours from November 15.
However, they anticipate that the Brixton, Hursthill, Crosby reservoirs will be affected by the reduced supply.
Johannesburg water has announced that they will placestationary water tanks in areas supplied by those systems.
But the supply to Rahima Moosa Hospital and Helen Joseph Hospital will be provided through an alternate feed to ensure that these critical customers, are catered for during the water outage.
Johannesburg Water will provide water to other affected areasthrough mobile water systems.
They said they are receiving regular updates from Rand Water on the progress made at their site.
