This follows the resignation of David Makhura who’s held the office for 8 years.
Panyaza Lesufi has been elected as the 7th premier of Gauteng. He defeated the DA’s Solly Msimanga. Lesufi was sworn in by Deputy Judge President of the North Gauteng High Court, Aubrey Ledwaba on Thursday. This follows the resignation of David Makhura who’s held the office for 8 years.
