Two teenage boys from Pienaarspoort, in Mamelodi township, were found dead in a stream after going missing for several days.
The boys were reported missing by their parents on Saturday after they failed to return home from playing in the streets.
The SAPS diving unit alongside the Search and Rescue unit joined forces to look for the missing teenagers and discovered their lifeless bodies.
The deceased’s families were hopeful about finding the boys still alive and well but now their hope has turned into sadness.
The police are still investigating the crime.
