Two unknown women robbed an unsuspecting woman at Diepkloof Square, next to Cash-Build store, recently and a case of armed robbery has been opened at the Diepkloof Police Station.
The local police are still searching for the two suspects and urge people who might have witnessed the crime to come forward and assist in apprehending the two women.
The victim informed the police that two women suddenly appeared with a gun and demanded her watch and ring. The incident is reported to have taken place around 4pm during the day leaving the woman confused and terrified by the robbery.
“We urge community members of Diepkloof who might have information in bringing about justice for this case to report to the Diepkloof Police Station. They can call anonymously on 079 890 7087 to help bring about justice,” said The Communications Officer of Diepkloof Police Station Captain Phephi Matlou-Mteto.
