A man accused of killing Jabulile Nkosi remanded in custody

The case of a Zimbabwean man Prince Ndlovu, who was accused of Killing Jabulile Nkosi in Alexandra, has been postponed to 21 January 2021.

Nkosi’s body was found with bullet wounds in September last year near the Juskei river park in West Bank, Alexandra.

National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) Gauteng spokesperson Phindi Njonondwane had previously said that, “the suspect did not apply for bail instead, he has applied for legal aid assistance in the matter, we believe that we have a strong case against him, also investigations are continuing to establish if he committed other crimes.”

Nkosi (18) was a learner at the East bank high school in Alexandra. Civil society organisations, including the ANC Women’s League and the EFF in the area were picketing outside the Alexandra magistrate’s court, opposing the bail release of the murder accused.
