At only 30, Xolile Thabethe, Founding CEO of TX Innovations, is setting trends in the tech industry with a mobile application business, Fill it Up, that is set to launch end of October 2019. The app enables consumers to stay on track with their fuel and keep money that is specifically for fuel on the app.
The app does not only help one to not tap into their fuel funds for other needs, it also has a map solution that navigatesyou to the nearest fuel station that is not busy, loyalty points system, fuel payment sharing, service system, pre-ordering items from inside the garage and have them delivered to your car while filling up – a first in South Africa. “I was selected by SITA as one of the most innovative ICT SMME’s for a mobile app solution for fuelstations, where I was also nominated to receive an award for the best innovative software solution” said Thabethe.
This impeccable venture is taking Thabetheto Budapest in the next few days. The Project Management graduate was named Shell South Africa’s Accelerate Her Programme winner. When property giant, Redefine Properties, sort innovative solutions that can keep consumers in the malls for longer, Thabethe’sideas were placed in 5th place amongst numerous entrants.
Thabethe employs 15 young people in her two thriving businesses, TX Innovations and Blow and Blush salons located at 40 Eloff Street and Ghandi Square in Johannesburg CBD.
