Two suspects, Armindo Pacula and Victor Majola, appeared in the Johannesburg magistrate court on April 1st, charged with the murder of Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras. The 25-year-old Mozambican national, Pacula, was arrested in Primrose, Germiston, and faces charges of premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and contravening the Immigration Act. He’s alleged to have received R7,000 for the hit, part of a R25,000 payment
Victor Majola, 44, was denied bail due to concerns he’s a flight risk and might intimidate witnesses. CCTV footage places him at the scene, pointing at the deceased before the shooting. The prosecution alleges Majola orchestrated the assassination. DJ Warras was fatally shot on December 16, 2025, while providing security services at the Zambesi House in Johannesburg’s Central Business District. The case has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice, with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) working closely with the police to ensure justice is served.
